Growth. It’s what most claim their goal is - but the real question is, “how are you planning to grow?” One of the things that really made me stop and think this issue was something from Sadhana Smiles’ article, where she notes that “Real Estate is not that different to Masterchef”.
Substitute the word “business” for Real Estate if you like, but the concept is the same. It’s completely feasible to all of us (thanks to that show) that you can get 20 people in the same environment (a kitchen), give them the same ingredients and the same tools, and end up with a completely different result. Which goes to show you, it’s not necessarily what you get, it’s what you do with what you’ve got.
So, how do you work a bit smarter with what you’ve got? Firstly, Property Management. Fiona Blayney and Nick Roche both have some great ideas on how to improve growth in Property Management. Amanda Tate, Principal of LJ Hooker Taree, shows how growth is possible by providing great customer service (and shows how to win a few awards on the way). And Mike Andrew, social media and technology expert, shows how you can grow your leads through smart use of the Internet.
Enjoy the issue!
